This is a challenging trek for the people who are seeking an isolated adventure and natural beauty in its abundance. The trek starts from lush green Kullu valley and winds through the beautiful meadows, streams, pastures and the forest of Oak, Deodar and Conifer.
Crossing the first pass Kali Hani 4670 Mts. makes your muscles strong enough to descend down to the most remote village of Kangra District “Bara Bhangal”.
The trail now continuous over moraine, scree and walking on glacier to 4704 Mts. high Thamsar pass. The first glimpse of the lush Kangra valley relaxes you after a steep climb and descends down to the valley through the pine forests of Billing, the end point of the trek. The vehicles take you to Bir or Dharamshala.

The trek starts from Manali through a thick forest of pine and oak. It is an uphill walk to the beautiful meadow of Lamadugh. Camp at Lamadugh.
Traversing below the Khanpari tibba ridge and it provides some magnificent views of upper Kullu valley and Manali town.
An ascent on to the mountain pastures of Sangohar at the base of Kalihani pass (4670 m). The view from the camp is magical & mystical.
The landscape changes while ascending and after crossing few snow sections reach at the Kalihani pass (4670 Mts.) Descending from the Pass and negotiating the moraine we approach to the mountain pastures before arriving to Dhanko Thach.
A gradual descend down the valley which takes us to the campsite at Dhanko Thach.
Initially a gradual ascend on beautiful meadows before entering to the forest. Thereafter the trek passes through the deep gorges and crossing over a wooden bridge leads to the camp site.
Descend down to Bara Bhangal a tribal village inhabited by shepherds.
Initially a steep ascent through the forest which leads to a beautiful meadow at the bottom of Thamsar pass (4704 m).
Climb up to Thamsar pass having a majestic view of Dhauladhar range of Himalaya and then descend down from the pass to the campsite.
Descend down through the forest to the small village of Raj Gundha.
Descend continuous up to Billing which is the most famous hub for paragliding. The trek ends here. Overnight at hotel in Bir.
